Residents celebrate annual Kent Winterfest with parade, tree lighting | Photos

Musical entertainment, food trucks, local crafts also featured

Residents celebrated the annual Kent Winterfest on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Town Square Plaza, Second Avenue and Smith Street.

The free event included a parade through downtown and the tree lighting at the park. Other activities included musical performances by local students, food trucks, community booths and local crafts people. Santa was also present.

The event is sponsored by the city of Kent, the Kent Lions Club, Kent Station and Kent Downtown Partnership.
