Wick is a leader on and off the court and epitimizes what it means to be a Falcon

The Kent News’s female athlete of the week for Nov. 24 is senior Ella Wick of Kentlake High School, girls basketball.

Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

My Dad has helped me in both school and sport over the years.

From the Sidelines: Ella has shown outstanding leadership on and off the court. She is involved in school activities and embraces the idea of Falcon Family. She strives to maintain a 4.0 GPA while taking rigorous courses. On the court Ella has taken on a leadership role, willing to step up and help the incoming athletes with the Kentlake girls basketball program. Her basketball skills and positive impact on the program has made her a leader for the 2023-24 basketball season. Ella shows up early and is the last to leave thanking her teammates and coaches for being part of our Falcon program. Ella epitomizes the core values of what it means to be a Falcon. Family-Attitude-Leadership-Commitment-Ownership-Sportsmanship
